Do you have a scratchy sore throat? Let the soothing, slightly numbing constituents of sweet Licorice Root, and its partner Marshmallow Root, with its mucilage properties to coat the throat. Ginger and cinnamon are also used to slightly numb the throat and help with inflammation, while orange peel is used to sweeten and offer the immune-boosting properties of vitamin C.  Use as an offering to Mercury, the planet associated with communication, and with anything blue as it is associated with the throat chakra.

Brew for 5 to 10 minutes in hot water. Enjoy! (1 TBSP will brew at least 2 cups).
